washington - Incoming president Donald Trump of the United States supports tech mogul Elon Musk, who wants to maintain a work visa for highly skilled migrants.

The tensions ran high and Musk even threatened 'war.' Musk and other tech moguls believe that the United States is not producing enough technically skilled individuals. Musk, who hails from South Africa, himself came to the US on an H1-B visa, specifically meant for highly educated individuals from abroad. On X, the platform he owns, Musk wrote that it is crucial for the US to attract top engineers from abroad 'to continue winning.'

In response, Trump supporters expressed anticipation for the divide between Trump and big tech. They argue that he is too influenced by tech moguls like Musk and fear he will not keep his election promises. One of the key promises is the deportation of illegal migrants.

Musk is one of Trump's key advisors as he prepares for his second term in office. Alongside entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Musk will lead the Department of Government Efficiency, which aims for a leaner, more efficient government.
