Trump speaks out support for Mitt Romney

washington - Mitt Romney gets full support from President Donald Trump to stand as a candidate for the Senate seat of the state of Utah. The former Republican presidential candidate is an outspoken opponent of Trump, who nonetheless expresses his support for him on Twitter.

According to Trump, Romney will be a good senator and a worthy successor to Orrin Hatch, the current Utah senator. Trump had initially urged Hatch to stand for re-election. However, he does not aspire a new term, which opens the way for Romney.

When Trump suddenly appeared to be chosen in the 2016 campaign, Romney called on the Republicans not to support the New York real estate magnate. Romney lost in 2012 in the battle for the White House of Democrat Barack Obama.
