Trump Orders Paid Leave for DEI Staff
US President Donald Trump has ordered all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) staff to take paid leave by 5:00 pm. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued a directive for the shutdown of all DEI websites, social media accounts, cancellation of trainings, and termination of contracts.
White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt confirmed the decision on social media. The move comes after Trump signed an executive order titled 'Ending Radical and Wasteful DEI Programs and Initiatives.'
