'Trump must tackle Putin hard at the top'
washington - US Congressmen of both the Republican and Democratic Party demands of President Donald Trump that he tackles his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin at the summit between the two Heads of State to be held in Finland next week.
The call to act has become stronger after prosecutor Robert Mueller had indicted twelve Russians on Friday for unlawful interference in the US elections in 2016.
'Trump is not going to demand that Putin hand over the twelve accused Russians to Mueller, because Russia never does. So they will probably never be tried, 'said a Trump spokesman in a reaction.
The president himself said on Friday: 'I am definitely going to ask Putin the question about interference. 'Democrats even called upon Trump to drop the summit out of protest, but the White House rejected that suggestion.
