baltimore - Again, a federal judge has spoken out against President Donald Trump's plan to ban transgender people from the US Army. In Baltimore district judge Marvin Garbis ruled Tuesday that such a ban amounts to discrimination and is in violation of the constitution.
Garbis argues that banning transgender people from military service lacks justification and presumably does not stand up as a legitimate government interest. His statement is similar to that of a colleague from Washington in late October.
