washington - Former US President Donald Trump praises the election win of the German conservative bloc CDU/CSU as a significant event.

Trump's Comments on German Conservative Win

Former US President Donald Trump described the election victory of the German conservative bloc CDU/CSU as a 'great day for Germany'. Trump stated on the Truth Social platform that the Germans have achieved a win against the 'agenda without common sense, especially in the areas of energy and immigration'.

According to Trump, the conservatives' win is also great for 'the United States under the leadership of a gentleman named Donald J. Trump'. He extended his congratulations to everyone and hinted at more victories to come.

In Germany, the CDU/CSU is projected to win 29 percent of the votes. The far-right AfD nearly doubles its support, from just over 10 to almost 20 percent, making it the second-largest party in the country. The Social Democratic SPD, led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz, is expected to secure only 16 percent of the votes.
