Trump Considers DeSantis Instead of 'Drinking' Hegseth for Defense

washington - Incoming American President Donald Trump is considering Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida as a replacement for Pete Hegseth, whom he previously appointed to be the Minister of Defense in his cabinet.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Hegseth's nomination is in jeopardy since NBC News reported on alleged troubling alcohol use during his work as a presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends Weekend, which started in 2017. It was also revealed that Hegseth had paid off a woman who accused him of sexual abuse.
