Trump announces import duty on steel

washington (anp/rtr) - The United States will impose import duties for foreign steel and aluminum from next week. President Donald Trump announced a rate of 25 percent for steel and 10 percent for aluminum.
With the levies, Trump wants to support the American steel and aluminum industry. According to the president, that industry has been treated unfairly by other countries for decades.
