us-mexico border - The dreams of hundreds of migrants coming to the US border have been shattered as the application allowing entry is terminated.

End of CBP One Application

A mobile application called CBP One, providing a way for migrants to schedule appointments for asylum claims, has been terminated by President Donald Trump. This has left hundreds of migrants stranded at the US-Mexico border, with their appointment cancellations causing distress and disappointment.

Migrants Stranded at the Border

People from Haiti, Venezuela, and various other countries who had appointments to enter the US legally found out that their appointments were canceled. The termination of the application has caused emotions of hopelessness and despair among the migrants. Many shared their disappointment and uncertain future as they remain stuck at the border.

Increased Security Measures at Mexico Border

The US Department of Defense announced the deployment of an additional 1500 troops to support security measures at the southern border, representing a 60% increase since President Trump took office. The plan includes enhancing border surveillance and developing additional border enforcement strategies.

First Law of Trump's Second Term

A bill aimed at detaining irregular migrants accused of crimes such as theft and robbery to prevent illegal immigration has been passed by the US Senate and House of Representatives. Known as the 'Laken Riley Act,' the bill is the first law of Trump's second term.
