Troops ending assault on the hotel Somalia

- Somali security forces on Thursday put an end to the attack by militants at the Ambassador Hotel in Mogadishu. The attack certainly took sixteen people died, including two members of the Somali parliament. 55 people were injured.

Islamist terror group al-Shabaab, which has links to al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the attack which began Wednesday. Thursday were sporadically still hear shots in the Ambassador Hotel. Security forces who entered the building, all floors combed out. Government forces had cordoned off the area around the heavily damaged hotel.

,, National security forces are on each floor, the last terrorist on the roof is shot, '' said a police officer. A witness saw this terrorist from the fifth floor of the building fell to the ground. Eight dead people were at the front of the hotel. Al-Shabaab has been elaborated by the AMISOM peacekeeping force of the African Union in Mogadishu in 2011. But the terror movement remains a potential threat in Somalia, which regularly commits attacks aimed at the overthrow of the government supported by the West.
