Explosion at Barcelona Port

An explosion occurred at a facility owned by Tipsa in Barcelona port during maintenance work, where an acetate tank exploded. The city authorities activated an emergency plan due to the chemical risk caused by the fire.

Port officials confirmed 1 fatality and 1 injured individual who was taken to the hospital. The fire was extinguished by the fire department, and a security perimeter was set up in the affected area.
