Trade Mission to China for the elderly

- Twenty Dutch companies and knowledge institutions dealing with eldercare will next week trade mission to China. Secretary of State Martin van Rijn (Health) submits the delegation.

China looks Van Rijn with interest to the Dutch elderly, which is highly valued according to him abroad. China's population is aging rapidly. To care for all those elderly, China wants overseas cheating art. The Chinese like to know more how the Netherlands deals with long-term care, home care, e-health and rehabilitation care.

Van Rijn and his entourage visit include healthcare facilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and meet with administrators and experts. The State expects to learn in turn from his hosts.
