- Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement to sign West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus for £55 million. The Ghana international is set to undergo a medical in the next 48 hours after agreeing to a six-year contract.

Tottenham to Sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur has finalized a deal to acquire West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus for a reported fee of £55 million. The transfer, confirmed by a source to ESPN's James Olley, marks a significant move in the summer transfer window.

Details of the Agreement

The agreement includes a six-year contract for Kudus, who is expected to undergo a medical examination within the next 48 hours before completing the transfer to Tottenham.

Previous Offers and Release Clause

Earlier, West Ham had turned down a £50 million bid from Spurs, indicating a willingness to negotiate a deal at a higher price. Kudus, 24, has an £85 million release clause in his contract that can be triggered by other Premier League clubs, but West Ham opted to accept a lower offer from Tottenham.

Player Background and Career

Kudus, who previously attracted interest from Chelsea, joined West Ham in 2023 from Ajax. He has since become a key player for the club, featuring in 80 matches, scoring 19 goals, and providing 13 assists, showcasing his talent and potential in the Premier League.
