TomTom launches flash app
- Navigation company TomTom has launched a new app. Flashes as the application is called, lets users know when a speed camera or mobile flash in the vicinity.
The app is currently only available for Android devices and can be used by itself, or as a layer on Google Maps in the navigation mode. In addition to fixed speed cameras, users can also enter locations of mobile speed cameras, after which they are then shared with others. The app works in the Netherlands, Belgium and thirteen other countries.
