TomTom expands parking in the street

amsterdam - TomTom will help motorists in cities including Amsterdam and Rotterdam with finding a parking space. The navigation specialist announced on Thursday a new service that gives the user information about the chance of finding a parking spot and the average search time.

The company already gave advice more parking garages and parking passes are now out to the street. In addition to Amsterdam and Rotterdam are 23 other European cities provided with parking information. Then the coverage will be extended.

The company also announced it has expanded the coverage of its HD card service for motorways to 200 000 kilometers.
