cardigan - The two-year-old girl Kiara drowned in her parents' car in Cardigan, Wales. The vehicle had been reported as stolen or missing a few hours earlier and was found in the river Teifi after a search by the police. It is not clear how the vehicle ended up in the water.

The parents had parked the Mini with the child in the backseat for an office to get money there. When his return, the car was gone and they sounded alarm. They looked in the river next to the parking lot but saw nothing there.

The child was taken to the hospital, but death was found there. Kiara would have turned three next Tuesday.

Her parents describe her in a moving message on Facebook as 'a cheerful young girl'. The parents receive help from specialists. 'She had an adventurous life ahead of her. She might have done more than most children of her age. She made our family very happy, 'said the father.

Under the Facebook message, thousands of compatriots show their sympathy.

Noel Lewis, owner of a garage in the neighborhood, knows the family well. 'Kiara always played with her dog here. Her parents have an outdoor store here. They often took her to sail across the river in a canoe. She always had a large life jacket on. This is an incredible drama ', says Lewis to the BBC.
