amsterdam - The Bulgarian clairvoyant Baba Vanga, who died in 1996 at the age of 85, predicted that 2018 will be the year in which China becomes the new superpower and that next year a 'new energy' will be discovered on the planet Venus.
Vanga recently made the newspapers more often. The blind Bulgarian, for example, predicted the attacks of 11 September, the tsunami in 2004, the Brexit and the rise of Islamic State. Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, as the real name of the woman is, also appears to have predicted two events for 2018.
Thus she warned that China will become the next superpower, with which the country will take over the torch from the United States. China has not yet caught up with the United States, but in theory it could happen. China accounted for around 15.6 percent of the world economy in 2015. And while that percentage continues to increase, some expect that the percentage of the US will soon fall to 14.9 percent.
Baba Vanga also predicted that in 2018 a new form of energy will be discovered on Venus. Although there are no concrete plans for a mission to that planet, there is a launch of a space probe on the planning that will closely observe the sun. The spacecraft will not land on Venus, but the probe will fly around the planet seven times. Venus will serve as a gravity garland to swing the probe towards the sun.
The Bulgarian suddenly lost her sight during a major storm at the age of 12, missing her. She would only have been recovered by her family after a few days. Her eyes were tight and covered with a thick layer of dust. At that time the woman would have received first visions thanks to 'invisible beings' who gave her information about the future.
Vanga made hundreds of predictions in her fifty-year career, so that she was sometimes called the 'Nostradamus of the Balkans'.
