Therapy peacock is not allowed to fly into United Airlines

new york - Perhaps you wondered sometimes: can peacocks fly? The answer is no. A woman with fear of flying who recently wanted to board the plane with her peacock at Newark airport near New York, was refused by airline United Airlines.

The animal did not comply with the regulations, the company said. According to United, the lady in question had already been made clear three times, but she went to the airport with better knowledge. The anxious lady thought that the peacock gave her emotional support.

Although United refused the peacock, the company has announced that it will revise the regulations. 'We are aware that some passengers want to have certain animals with them so they are less anxious on board', according to a spokesperson for the company.

In America, such an emotional support animal (ESA) is more familiar than with us. Because passengers feel more at ease with this, a support can often be taken on board. Most people, however, choose a cat or a dog.

But other people, like the passenger in this story, opt for less obvious animals. Two years ago, a picture of a turkey in an airplane seat surfaced on the internet.
