- Supinya Jansuta stood relatively quiet for years behind her flaming pans in her street restaurant in Bangkok. Last December got 72-year-old street cook and Michelin star. But the 'queen of the lobster omelette' is by no means happy. She is not happy with it.

Bangkok

That reports the AD.

That a street is distinguished with a prestigious Michelin star is rare. Only three street food chefs were Supinya Jansuta. Still, the cook at restaurant Raan Jay Fai wanted her to give the star back.

Initially Supinya Jansuta thought that the award was 'very long'. But after it gave her worldwide fame and endless queues, she is pissed off. 'I wish I could give the price back. Many people come to watch and to photograph me and not automatically to eat ', she sighed to the eater. com.

The cook is always decked out with ski goggles to protect her from splashing oil from her wok pans. Her specialty is fresh fish and shellfish that she prepares in flaming woks on a coal fire. Culinary reviewers are particularly attracted by the fresh lobster omelette.
