chemnitz - Tens of thousands of music lovers and activists have committed themselves to xenophobia, racism and right-wing extremist violence during a concert in Chemnitz. Under the slogan 'we are with more' bands such as Die Toten Hosen, Kraftklub and rappers Marteria and Casper performed in the Saxon city on Monday night.

The local government calculated the number of visitors at 65,000. Toten-Hosen singer Campino even spoke to 70,000 attendees. According to the police, it went peacefully. Counter-demonstrations of Thügida, an alliance that should have nothing of foreigners and Muslims, and the right-wing populist movement Pro Chemnitz were forbidden.

Chemnitz was for days the scene of actions of neo-Nazis, right-winged persons and opponents of the refugee policy of the Merkel government. The reason was the stabbing that cost a German the life. Two suspects, an Iraqi and a Syrian, are stuck.
