Teacher Wout Christiaens found dead

sint-niklaas - The body of the missing teacher Wout Christiaens was found in the Flemish city of Sint-Niklaas. The 36-year-old man disappeared mysteriously last Saturday.

Nothing is known about his cause of death, Flemish media report.

Friends and family were looking for the father of two children since last Saturday. The teacher from Ekeren left that morning without a mobile phone or wallet from his parents' home in Sint-Niklaas. 'He was walking in the direction of the motorway, so he can also have a lift, or he is crossing the border to the Netherlands', his brother said earlier.
