Task sentences for rioters Brussels

World April 20, 2018 10:45

brussels - The Brussels court has imposed community service sentences on five rioters who caused destruction in the Belgian capital in November after the qualifying match for the World Cup between Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire. A rapper who had been arrested for calling on the riots via Facebook was acquitted for lack of evidence.

Due to the profits of Morocco, the country placed itself for the first time in twenty years for the World Cup on 11 November. Then riots broke out in the center of Brussels. Among other things, a van was set on fire, a shop window was vandalized and a night shop plundered. More than twenty agents were injured.

Brussels announced this week to ban big TV screens in the center during the World Cup this summer. According to a spokesperson, there are too many nationalities in the city, so that every game attracts many people. That is too heavy a burden for the police. There is no exception for the matches of the Belgian national team 'to avoid discussion'.
