Syrian opposition in Geneva

geneve - The main Syrian opposition group will travel to Geneva for talks with the Special Envoy of the United Nations for Syria, Staffan de Mistura. That the Supreme Negotiating Committee (HNC) announced Friday itself. In Geneva peace talks begun Friday to end the conflict in Syria.

The HNC announced that it will participate in a 'political process' with the Syrian government. Whether the opposition group at the peace talks to will slide, is not known.

De Mistura said he has no formal evidence that the Syrian opposition will participate in Geneva talks.
