Syrian Interim President's Visit to Saudi Arabia
Syrian Interim President Ahmed Shara, along with Foreign Minister Esad Hasan Sheybani, arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for his first foreign visit. Shara is expected to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his visit. Shara was elected as the Interim President during the "Victory Conference" in Syria on January 29, where he will represent the country on international platforms.
