Swiss fighter jet missing over Alps

- A Swiss F-18 went missing Monday in the late afternoon (local time) over the Swiss Alps.

There is no contact with the pilot. According to Swiss media, the unit was last in the region in Susten in the Swiss Alps.

A rescue operation was put on line to find the F / A-18 unit of the Swiss Air Force, a multi-purpose fighter-bomber.
