Swimming teacher (33) suspected of abuse of 40 girls

- A swimming teacher from the German federal state Baden-Württemberg is accused of abusing 40 girls between the ages of four and eight. Between October 2015 and September 2017, the victims would have been abused by the 33-year-old man. In five cases it is serious abuse.

The abuse would have taken place in Baden-Baden and Achern, for example, in swimming pools where the man worked. The girls would have been abused in the changing room and the swimming pool. This would also have secretly filmed the swimming instructor.

Two girls would have been threatened with death by the man to prevent them from saying anything about the abuse.

The German judiciary received 136 reports about the man. He is charged with forty cases. The man has been locked since the end of September.
