epinay-sur-orge, france - The 23-year-old suspect arrested in the murder case of the French girl Louise (11) has confessed, according to the French prosecutor.

Suspect Confesses to Murder

The 23-year-old suspect, Owen L. confessed to the accusations against him while in custody, the French prosecutor stated. Louise Lassalle, an eleven-year-old girl, was found dead in a forest in Essonne, south of Paris, after disappearing on Friday afternoon.

Multiple stab wounds were found on her body, and L.'s DNA was discovered at the crime scene. His family members were also arrested on suspicion of not reporting a crime. The motive behind the murder is still unknown, with possibilities including sexual assault, robbery, or a sadistic act being investigated.
