Suriname loses UN voting rights

paramaribo - Due to overdue payments of the contribution Surinam may temporarily no longer cast a vote in meetings of the United Nations (UN).

Venezuela, the Central African Republic, Dominica, Grenada, Libya and Yemen and Equatorial Guinea have also lost their voting rights. This is what a UN spokesman said on Monday.
