shanghai - The first Chinese airline passenger airplane had a successful air breeze on Friday. The C919 landed safely at Shanghai Airport after a flight of 80 minutes.
The device, developed and built by the Chinese state-owned company COAMC, can accommodate more than 150 passengers. The Chinese want to compete with the European Airbus A320 and the US Boeing 737. There have already been 570 devices, mainly by Chinese parties.
Analysts estimate the size of the global market for this type of device for the next 20 years at around 2 billion dollars.
