'Substitute' Prime Minister May resigns

london - A confidant of the British Prime Minister Theresa May, Damian Green, who actually acted as deputy prime minister with the honorary title of First State Secretary, has resigned. British media reported on Wednesday that he is stopping due to statements about pornography that had been found on his computer in the House of Commons almost ten years ago.

Researchers claimed that he told 'wrong and misleading information' last month. The 61-year-old Green has apologized for his behavior in his letter of resignation.

Premier May thinks it is a great pity that he leaves. Recently two ministers from May have stepped up after being discredited, Minister Priti Patel of International Development and Minister of Defense Michael Fallon.
