Sturgeon discusses Scottish EU membership

- Nicola Sturgeon travels Wednesday to Brussels to talk with the leaders of the European Union. Scotland's first minister told parliament in Edinburgh on Tuesday that she wants to see what the possibilities are to keep Scotland within the union.

Sturgeon speaks among others by Martin Schulz, the President of the European Parliament. Further, they want the position of Scotland, with regard to the brexit directly bring to the attention of the European Commission. A substantial majority of the Scottish electorate (62 percent) voted Thursday against leaving the European Union.
