Student Steals from Amazon Lockers in France

A 23-year-old student successfully stole luxury goods valued at 111,215 euros from Amazon lockers in France.

Modus Operandi

  • Opened accounts with fake identities to order high-tech equipment, mainly Apple products.
  • Used Amazon lockers across France for deliveries and pickups.
  • Bypassed security protocols to open lockers unnoticed and return empty boxes, triggering automatic refunds.

Legal Action

  • Amazon filed a complaint leading to the student's arrest after fraudulent activities were detected in Eaubonne, France.
  • Police identified the culprit, linking him to multiple fake identities and 111,215 euros in fraudulent gains.

Crime Network

  • Student referenced dismantling of a criminal network that stole 470,000 euros using a similar scheme in Val-d'Oise.
  • The network operated in three teams involving friends and family to place orders and resell stolen goods.

Despite admitting to the crimes, the student remained silent about his hacking technique during detention.
