State Broadcast: Mnangagwa Friday President Zimbabwe

harare - Emmerson Mnangagwa will be sworn in as President of Zimbabwe on Friday as the successor to the Tuesday Robert Mugabe, reports state broadcaster ZBC Wednesday.

Former Vice President Mnangagwa was fired earlier this month by Mugabe. He fled to South Africa and, after expectation, returned to Zimbabwe in the course of Wednesday.

The resignation of Mnangagwa finally led to the fall of Mugabe, who ruled Zimbabwe for 37 years.
