Spain pays Venezuela with the same currency

madrid - Spain declared the Venezuelan ambassador to persona non grata on Friday. That happened a day after Caracas had told the Spanish ambassador the guard.

Venezuela sent the diplomat away a few days after the European Union announced that it would put seven Venezuelans affiliated with President Nicolas Maduro's regime on a sanction list. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Jorge Arreaza gave as reason 'continuous aggression and repeatedly interfere with internal affairs of our country by the Spanish government'. The EU condemned the sending away of the Spanish ambassador.

Maduro put aside the parliament last year, which had to make room for a well-to-do constituent assembly.
