Spain dismantles 'marijuana transport'

- Spanish police have near Alicante dismantled a transport company, whose main income was from smuggling Moroccan cannabis and hash. The legal transport was a cover for a very professional set up drug trafficking, Spanish media report Friday. The transport company brought large amounts of marijuana in trucks from Morocco to southern Spain and from Spain to the Netherlands and England.

In the base of the smugglers on an industrial estate in Onil, more than 30 kilometers north of the city of Alicante, was hiding the drugs in trucks to a fine art.
