SNS Bank stops app for Windows Phone

utrecht - SNS Bank will end with the SNS Mobile Bank app for Windows Phone users. The bank finds the cost of maintaining the app too high. Only 1 percent of SNS customers manage their banking on a Windows Phone.

The Mobile Banking app at SNS Bank will no longer work on the Windows Phone on October 1, and only on iOS and Android devices.

On the bank's forum, SNS is busy developing a responsive My SNS. This allows customers to bank online through a personal website that works well on all smartphones.

The SNS Bank app is the second app for Windows Phone that stops. Earlier this year Spotify stopped with the further development of the app. PayPal, Amazon and CNN, Spotify had already taken place.
