risoul - A 22-year-old British snowboarder who was reported missing on Tuesday was found dead on Friday evening. According to the police, he is probably lost on his way home after a night out.

Owen Lewis was found dead frozen on a mountain stream in the popular French resort of Risoul. He worked as a teacher in a ski school in Neuvic. This is how the AD reports. He lived with a few friends in an apartment in the ski resort. On photos on his Facebook you can see that he regularly went snowboarding.

The 22-year-old young man was last seen around two o'clock in a popular bar on Tuesday. When he had not come home the next day and friends and family could not reach him, an alarm was sounded and a search started immediately. A search was made with posters, dog teams and a rescue helicopter. On Friday, his body was finally found.

The police assume that the man is lost. They derive from the footsteps in the snow, around Owen's body. He may have taken the wrong turn.
