- The marriage of the British prince Harry and Meghan Markle costs tens of millions of heavy security.

Visitors to the wedding at Windsor Castle must avoid a vehicle attack through security gates and steel obstacles, the Evening Standard newspaper reports on police authority. Armed and unarmed police interferes with the public, while snipers are put on roofs.

Windsor expects more than a hundred thousand interested parties for the wedding on May 19. All motorists entering the town are checked; everyone who comes is screened and all bags are searched. Six hundred people attended the ceremony in St George's Chapel, followed by a trip.

No one from the 4200-strong police force in the region may have withdrawn the leave promised earlier on leave. According to some estimates, the security operation would cost 34 million euros.
