Smuggler flight, migrants injured

alexandroupoli - A truck full of congested migrants has had an accident in Greece when the driver of the truck tried to escape a check. The truck was driving at high speed against a parked car. Three stowaways were injured, the driver and a smuggler were arrested next to him.

The truck driver wanted to cross the border with Greece from Turkey, when the border police wanted to check him. 41 migrants were in the cargo hold. They were taken to a relief camp.

Two other people smugglers were arrested when they tried to put nine migrants across the border river between Turkey and Greece with a rubber dinghy.
