Signal test encrypted video calls

san francisco - Open Whisper Systems on Wednesday released a beta of Signal with which it is possible to perform encrypted video calls. According to the company, there is a completely new infrastructure 'built to carry encrypted calls.

The new version not only provides encryption, but also for better call quality. Open Whisper Systems wants to collect the beta feedback. The new calling features are available for iOS and Android. The user need for it to change only one setting.

Encrypted call is only possible if the caller and the person called party Signal and installed the beta have enabled.
