rome - An Italian coast guard ship with more than nine hundred migrants on board has arrived in Italy. This happened a few days after the country had closed the ports for the rescue ship Aquarius, which had more than six hundred migrants on board. That vessel is now on its way to Spain.
Doctors Without Borders reports on Twitter that the Italian coast guard ship also has two bodies on board. The rescued migrants were 'disoriented' on arrival in Catania (Sicily) and in some cases did not realize that they had arrived in Italy, according to the aid organization.
