los angeles - A fire at a power distribution station has caused some 140,000 people in Los Angeles to be out of power since Saturday. To break the fire safely, some of the mains had to be disconnected.
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power could not say when the power supply is restored on Sunday morning. First the fire must be confined. How long it takes is not clear.
