As possible time he has mentioned the first quarter of next year. This has confirmed a source within the party management vis-à-vis the DPA news agency.
Earlier in the day, Seehofer (68) proposed to stand as party chairman, but not as head of the CSU for the Bavarian parliamentary elections. The party summit held Sunday talks about the already weeks of power struggle in the ranks and about the future of the current foreman.

Then it should also be clarified whether the CSU Minister of Finance puts Markus Söder forward as prime minister or that the group wants to vote between him and Joachim Herrmann, the Minister of the Interior.
