Seehofer expects electoral profit with AKK

berlin - The German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer expects that the so-called 'Union' of CDU and CSU will again be able to win electoral gains now that Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer has been elected as successor to Angela Merkel.

'I am sure that the Union with its re-election results of more than 40% can achieve', says Seehofer in Bild am Sonntag. The choice for 'AKK' has for the time being led to 1 percentage point profit compared to last week, according to a poll of the newspaper. CDU and CSU together represent 29 percent of voters.
