adelaide - An Australian school has apologized for a statue where a holy bread offers to a boy. It shows how the Martinus of Porres, a saint who especially worked for the poor, held a loaf of bread in front of his waist while a boy was sitting on his knees before him.
The Catholic school in Adelaide had a hard time on social media. Many people think that something else is depicted than handing out a loaf of bread to a hungry boy.
