london - The man who drove a car on Tuesday with the British parliament on cyclists and pedestrians was sued on Saturday for attempted murder twice. He has to appear in court on Monday.

According to the London police, the 29-year-old Salih Khater first tried to overtake civilians and then police officers. Also because of the 'working method and iconic location' the Public Prosecution Service sees the case as a terrorist act.

The police write that in a statement. Three people were injured as a result of the collision with parliament. Khater is originally from Sudan and according to his family has no links with Islamic groups like IS. He is known as 'a boy who never spoke to anyone'.
