Rwanda police kills three jihadists

- Police in Rwanda on Friday three suspected radical Islamists slain and arrested three others. They had two weeks since entrenched in a house in the western district of Rusizi and offered resistance when the police after a tip from residents raided.

According to a statement from the police the suspects were trying to radicalize Muslims and recruit for jihad. Further details of the police did not.

About 2.5 percent of the 11 million population of Rwanda is Muslim. The rest is predominantly Christian.
