ukraine, russia - One person killed and six injured in Russia's overnight attack using 79 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine.

Russia's UAV Attack in Ukraine

Russia carried out a night-long attack in Ukraine using 79 UAVs, resulting in 1 fatality and 6 injuries. Ukraine reported destroying 63 out of the 79 Russian UAVs. The war between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for over 3 years.

Details of the Attack

  • Kramatorsk, in eastern Ukraine, witnessed one fatality and 2 injuries. The Mayor stated that a child born in 2006 was killed due to enemy shelling.
  • Zaporizhia Governor mentioned that a person was injured in the UAV attack, causing a large fire and partial collapse of a residential building.
  • Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported rescuing 2 injured individuals from the collapsed building. In Khmelnytskyi city, one person was injured in the attack.
  • Ukraine's Air Force stated that their defense units destroyed 63 out of the 79 Russian UAVs attacking various regions of Ukraine.
