antalya - A Russian passenger plane operated by Azimuth Airlines caught fire after landing at Antalya Airport in Turkey. All passengers were safely evacuated.

A passenger plane belonging to the Russian airline Azimuth Airlines caught fire on Sunday after landing at Antalya Airport in Turkey, according to reports including Airport Haber. All passengers were evacuated safely.

According to Antalya Airport's website, the plane landed around 18:30. The flight originated from Sochi, a Russian resort town located a few hundred kilometers from neighboring country Georgia.

A video shared on social media by Airport Haber shows flames and smoke coming from the plane's engine, appearing to spread to the rest of the aircraft. Emergency services responded immediately.

Turkish media reported that emergency services quickly extinguished the fire. Haber Global stated that all 79 passengers were evacuated safely. The Russian news agency TASS reported no injuries.
