amsterdam - Russian military bloggers are expressing anger towards the Kremlin for deploying highly skilled troops to attack Ukrainian positions. The situation has led to shortages in manpower and controversial tactics at the front.

A backlash is growing among military bloggers in Russia against the Kremlin's policy of deploying some of the most skilled troops to attack Ukrainian positions. Recent reports indicate significant losses among Russian soldiers, with over a thousand casualties per day. This has resulted in a shortage of manpower, leading to the transfer of special units, aerospace troops, sailors, and rocket scientists to frontline positions.

The Kremlin is determined to continue its advance in Eastern Ukraine, despite Ukrainian incursions in the border region of Kursk. To fulfill manpower requirements, specialists, disabled individuals, and wounded soldiers are being sent to storm certain locations, sometimes resulting in unnecessary casualties.

A recent scandal brought attention to this situation when reconnaissance drones specialist Dmitry 'Goodwin' Lysakovski released a video stating that his unit was punished for sharing accurate frontline information. The entire long-range drone unit was dismantled before being sent for an attack.

Other military bloggers highlighted similar situations, with some condemning the deployment of units for mass infantry assaults. The controversy has reached the Kremlin, prompting an investigation by Defense Minister Andrei Beloyesov. However, the investigation concluded that Lysakovski's commander did nothing wrong in disbanding the drone unit, causing further outrage among war bloggers.

The tactics employed continue to prioritize quantity over quality, reminiscent of Soviet-era strategies. In contrast, Ukraine focuses on quality weaponry with fewer resources. Despite the challenges, the conflict in Eastern Ukraine persists as the Russian population remains supportive of the war and the government's policies.
